Kendra Thorogood, a fourth year Bachelor of International Business student, is learning first-hand about microfinance and the tremendous impacts it has on individuals living in poverty in rural Bangladesh.  This term she working in an internship with Grameen Bank, which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 with its founder Muhammad Yunus. Sprott hosting JDC Central 2012 this weekend

This weekend, 450 business students are coming to campus to test their knowledge, spirit, teamwork and determination in Ontario’s largest undergraduate business competition. Teams from 10 universities from central and eastern Canada are competing in JDC Central 2012, hosted by the Sprott School of Business.
