The Sprott MBA Management Accounting concentration includes the course material from the CMA’s Accelerated Program and also covers the competencies developed in the CMA Strategic Leadership Program, saving you significant time, money and effort! This program is the only one of its kind in Ontario.
Upon successful completion of the MBA program, all that you have to do to be eligible to become a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is complete the CMA Case Exam and Board Report. You must also meet the CMA experience requirements. Students who graduate from the program with a grade point average of 75 per cent or more are exempt from writing the Entrance Examination.

Graduates of the Sprott MBA Management Accounting Concentration will be equipped to:
- pursue careers in leadership roles with competencies in strategic management, risk management and governance, performance governance and measurement, financial management and financial reporting.
- earn the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation upon completion of CMA Canada’s Case Exam and Board Report.

The Sprott MBA core courses cover the competencies developed in the CMA’s two-year Strategic Leadership Program, while the concentration courses include the course materials for CMA’s Accelerated Program.
