Academic Competitions
Next to strategizing in a real-world work environment, earning the opportunity to be on one of the Sprott academic case competition teams allows you to put what you are learning in the classroom into practice in simulated business case scenarios that are based on real-life companies. These competitions are traditionally for students in third or fourth year who have attained the required academic credentials which include but are not limited to:
- Being in good academic standing
- Completing a minimum number of core courses related to competition topics (varies from competition to competition)
- Completing or enrolling in BUSI 3800
Where possible, the Sprott School of Business is pleased to support academic case competitions that represent each of the core programs of study within the BCOM and BIB programs.
